Use & build with Copilot

Everyone can use and build with Copilot, including sellers. Explore the user journey below to learn the concepts, practice the skills, and build at the level that fits your experience.

GitHub Copilot capability progression from Beginner to Advanced: Learn with GitHub Modules, Practice with GitHub Skills, Build with GitHub Copilot across VS Code, Copilot CLI, GitHub Copilot App and Copilot Cloud Agent, Certify with the GitHub Copilot and Agentic AI Developer certifications, and Validate with Partner Delivery Credentials.
Learning and certifications develop your own skills. Partner delivery credentials are a separate path for delivering to customers on behalf of GitHub.

Frequently asked questions

Which journey should I choose?
The Use & build with Copilot user journey is for everyone, including sellers, who wants to develop hands-on Copilot skills or prepare for customer delivery. Choose Sell GitHub Copilot for Partner Guides, Sales Credentials, Tech Forum, and PKO Session Recordings. These journeys represent learning goals, not exclusive roles. You can explore both; the learning levels are not a required sequence for the seller journey.
Are Sales Credentials the same as certifications or Partner Delivery Credentials?
No. Sales Credentials have a separate place in the seller resource hub. Certifications validate your own knowledge and skills, while Partner Delivery Credentials support delivering customer engagements on behalf of GitHub. Seller credential details and requirements will be added when confirmed; do not treat certification or delivery milestones as seller prerequisites.
Do I have to complete every level in order?
No. Start with the level that matches your experience. If the topics feel unfamiliar, revisit the previous level.
Where are the course links?
Choose a level. Each pathway groups concept-based modules under Learn and hands-on exercises under Practice.
What is the difference between certifications and partner delivery credentials?

Certifications validate your own knowledge and skills. For example, the GitHub Copilot certification is a milestone in the Proficient pathway.

Partner delivery credentials validate your ability to deliver for customers on behalf of GitHub. They focus on customer engagements, including GitHub Copilot: Core Skills & Application and GitHub Copilot: Deploying & Scaling AI Across the Enterprise. A certification is not the same as a delivery credential.

You do not need a delivery credential for individual self-paced learning. Credential requirements and enrollment links will be added when confirmed.

Do I need a delivery credential to learn?
No. Delivery credentials are separate from individual learning and support customer engagements on behalf of GitHub.
How do I join live training or share my work?
Confirmed registration links will appear in Live training. Contribution instructions will appear in Showcase your work; neither is available yet.
